Terms and Conditions - Transfer Services and Private Driver Hire Welcome to North Explorer. By hiring our transfer and private driver rental services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are intended to ensure a safe, efficient and enjoyable experience for all our customers. 1. Services Offered 1.1 Airport Transfer: We provide transfers to and from airports in Porto, with comfortable vehicles and qualified drivers. 1.2 Transfer Between Cities: We offer private transfers between the main cities of Porto and Lisbon, with a personalized and safe service. 1.3 Private Driver Rental: We offer drivers for hire by the hour or by the day, allowing flexibility in transportation during the contracted period. 2. Reservations and Payment 2.1 Advance Booking: We recommend that reservations be made at least 2 days in advance to ensure service availability. 2.2 Payment Method: Payment must be made at the time of booking or on the day of the service, as agreed with our team. We accept payments by [credit card, bank transfer, cash payment, etc.]. 2.3 Booking Confirmation: The booking will be confirmed by email or message, containing the details of the service, including the pick-up time, meeting point and vehicle. 3. Cancellations and Changes 3.1 Cancellation by the Customer: The customer may cancel or change the reservation up to 48 hours before the service, at no additional cost. After this period, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total amount will be charged. 3.2 Cancellation by the Company: In cases of force majeure, such as extreme weather conditions or unforeseen operational circumstances, North Explorer may cancel the service. The customer will be informed as far in advance as possible and may request a full refund or reschedule the service. 4. Customer Responsibility 4.1 Correct Information: The customer is responsible for providing correct and complete information, such as pick-up location, flight time (for airport transfers) and other details necessary for the service to be carried out. 4.2 Punctuality: The customer must be at the meeting point at the scheduled time for service. Delays exceeding 30 minutes may result in additional charges. 4.3 Companions: The number of passengers and luggage must be correctly informed at the time of booking. If there is a greater number of passengers or luggage at the time of the service, North Explorer may adjust the price or refuse to perform the service, depending on availability. 5. Travel Conditions and Safety 5.1 Vehicles and Drivers: All vehicles are licensed, regularly inspected and driven by qualified, experienced drivers who are familiar with the routes. 5.2 Passenger Safety: The customer and their companions must wear seat belts throughout the journey. Children must be accompanied by appropriate child seats or devices, which can be provided upon request, in advance. 5.3 Liability for Damage: North Explorer is not responsible for damage caused to the customer's property or person during the journey, except in cases of negligence or failure in the services provided. 6. Fees and Payment 6.1 Rates: Service prices are defined according to the distance, duration and type of service contracted. Any additional charges, such as tolls or parking fees, will be disclosed prior to service being performed. 6.2 Additional Charges: The customer may be charged for additional costs, such as prolonged waiting, route deviation or other unforeseen events during the service. 7. Route Changes and Deviations 7.1 Itinerary Changes: Should the customer wish to change the itinerary after the booking has been confirmed, North Explorer will do its best to accommodate the request, subject to availability and any additional costs. 7.2 Route Deviations: In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as traffic or road closures, the driver may change the route to ensure the safety and punctuality of the service. 8. Privacy Policy 8.1 Use of Personal Data: When contracting our services, the customer authorizes North Explorer to collect, store and use their personal data for operational and communication purposes related to the contracted service, in accordance with our privacy policy. 9. Disclaimer 9.1 Force Majeure: North Explorer will not be liable for failures or delays caused by factors beyond its control, such as extreme weather conditions, accidents, traffic problems or unforeseen events. 9.2 Damage to Personal Property: North Explorer is not responsible for damage or loss of personal property during transportation. 10.1 Changes to Terms: North Explorer may modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to customers prior to any new service. 10.2 Conflicts and Disputes: In the event of conflicts or disputes, the parties agree that resolution will be carried out in accordance with the laws applicable in [country or state], through mediation or arbitration, as necessary.
